A Typical Two Story Set

Here is a two story home that we set on top of a full basement and then finished out the attic as well. This home is inside the City of Williamsburg and just a stone's throw to the Historic Colonial Capital. The homeowners gave this home a look that is fitting for its location with full length porches on both floors in the front and the back. They have lots of light with multiple doors and windows on each porch and matching dormers in front and back.

We begin the day with the first box. Here we have lifted it from the carrier and are swinging it into place. You can see the garage doors in front as we have not removed the dirt for the drive until after the crane is gone. The second box then drops into place.

The third and fourth boxes making up the second floor swing into place. After that, we stack the four carriers that the modular units were shipped on and they are delivered back to the factory. Simple. We will then raise the roof which forms the attic.

Here we have finished the house, though the sod and landscaping is not in yet. The siding and decks complete the outside. We finished the basement and attic on this one, so they ended up with 4,000 sq ft of heated space. You can see the Brazilian Cherry hardwood which we installed throughout the first floor as picked out by the customer. We helped this customer design this from a sketch they saw in a book. They liked the look of the front elevation. It really fit the area nicely and appraised much higher than originally expected when we were drawing it up.
